And so it begins....The Wauka Mountain Iditaread has started! Readers are either reading a book for each of the 25 checkpoints, or reading so that every minute spent reading equals a mile of the 1,049-mile race from Anchorage to Nome! MUSH! @hallcountyschools

We will be having a tasty Read Across America Week as the Learning Commons has teamed up with our amazing Cafeteria crew to match great books with our tasty lunches. Remember, Friday will be Storybook Character Day; come dressed as your favorite storybook character or a vocabulary word.
Next week is School Breakfast week. Students who eat breakfast in the lunchroom get a Slush with their lunch!
K-4th Grade competed in the first ever Wauka Mountain Snowboarding Stem Challenge. They competed with their class to create the fastest snowboarder. The fastest time was .12 seconds! They are shredding the slopes in Ms. Johnson’s class. ❄️ 🏂
